Dr. Parviz Hajiyev

Pediatric urologist, European Board-certified (FEAPU)

Dr. Parviz Hajiyev is a pediatric urologist. He passed the examinations of the European Board of Paediatric Urology and was awarded the title FEAPU (Fellow of the European Academy of Paediatric Urology).

He completed medical school, urology residency and subspecialty training in pediatric urology in Turkey, at Ankara University Faculty of Medicine. He trained in pediatric urology at Aarhus University in Denmark and at the University of Chicago in the United States.

He diagnoses and surgically treats congenital and acquired conditions of the kidneys, urinary tract and genitals in children, from newborns to teenagers. He sees patients in Baku, at the Pediatric Urology Center (Badam Medical Center).

Research

He is an author and co-author of articles in international journals. He has given talks at ESPU and EAU congresses on bedwetting, varicocele, treatment of kidney stones in children (ESWL, mini-PNL), clean intermittent catheterization and hydronephrosis. In 2023 he was a speaker at the 8th International Pediatric Robotic Surgery Symposium in Chicago.
